Cristina Kawata

Growing up in Brazil and a Japanese household, I learned the importance of family and culture very early. I started my professional career as a dentist in Brazil, where I held my own practice, which taught me to work hard and pursue my dreams. When my kids were 5 and 4 years old, my family moved to the US, where I kept myself busy raising them, volunteering in sports and the community. I fondly remember the athletic and IB programs at Skyline High School in Sammamish. When my kids went to college,  I transitioned my career into being an English tutor for Brazilian students ranging from small children to business professionals, doctors, and lawyers. This taught me patience as I taught and guided people.

At each turn throughout my life, I have gained important skills: values of different cultures, hard work ethic, the importance of goals and dreams, and patience. These skills have helped me work with individuals from different backgrounds and life experiences and make me appreciate their journey. I know firsthand how stressful and sometimes scary it can be to move to an unfamiliar place and how confusing all the decisions can be for yourself and your family. I am here to help you every step of the way, whether you are relocating, starting a family, or downsizing.
